We recently hung a bead curtain in the main bedroom to help with our "chi" since my husband was sleeping facing the door to the bathroom. I'm taking this Feng Shui stuff very seriously ok? I was going to hang a fabric curtain up but then my husbdand found this online and had his heart set on it, and although I wasnt really sold on it, I decided to just let him get it. I felt a bit guilty because I want him to be included when it comes to home decor and somethimes I have been known to not consult him with impulse buys...
While its a bit noisy, it looks pretty cool! I have taught my daughter to commando crawl uner the bead curtain in order to reduce the amount of jingles I hear daily, its like giant wind chimes in my home...

ReplyDeleteVanessa, I understand about husbands and home decor. I've been there too. The only problem is when tastes are different... but we recently managed to find an agreement. All the stuff I bring home must be useful (even if only for my shooting sets), something has to go out when something comes in, and his studio is his own and he decides on the decor. The rest is up to me... Pretty fair, I believe ;)

it really is a challenge. i keep reminding him that garage is all his :) with the amount of surfboards and tennis rackets and other sporting goods he has! sigh, we are getting better at compromise :)
